i've started on my second project this past week, pajama mini bloomers! i'm using this white seersucker and possibly adding lace. haven't worked with elastic before, so hopefully it will go smoothly.

got the idea for the project from Grosgrain, where you'll find so many brilliant DIY ideas, and found a free pattern at Colette Patterns.

tonight i will be cutting fabric. more pictures soon!

find Grosgrain's Burdastyle project for A Spoonful of Sugar Nightwear here.

thinking of using this lace i picked up at saver's to make a little short sleeved cover up or somesort.
took a bit of a break, but the dress is nearly finished. it turned out too big so im working on that. need to finish hems and add straps and zipper. also plan to adjust the skirt length a few inches shorter.

got the front of the dress finished! it's turing out better than expected for having just a pattern and no instructions. yayy!

finished cutting the pieces for the bodice. i'm using black cotton fabric instead of the girly white and pink stripes. i think i'll leave out the ruffles as well.
