so the bloomers really didn't work out because the inseam ended up way too short. i'm going to finish the leg openings though soon. i did start another project. making a little tank out of the coral fabric i got a while back. thinking of using the little ivory lace on it and maybe the little flower buttons, but i also like the funky navajo looking stuff so i'm not sure.

finished the back. having a little more trouble with the front, but it's getting there.

i am finally enrolled in school! starting a couple online classes at The Art Institute of Austin. my major will be Fashion & Retail Management and my first two classes will be Intro to Retailing and Art HistoryI. the plan is to move to Austin in october to continue on-site. i've never been so excited to learn!




p.s. i haven't forgotten about those bloomers. tonight will be a productive one... i swear.

hokay! had to put everything on pause for a bit to move and take a trip to austin, but i'm most of the way settled in and will be able to get back to normal now. just a couple things i've been able to work on lately.

finished seams and elastic casing as waistband. one more row of elastic to add in waistband and then the ribbon at leg openings. almost done!







turned out much lower rise then i expected so i'm not sure that i'll actually wear them as shorts. has been great practice though! turning out very well. the next pair i will adjust so the waist is a little higher.
